Vera Guimaraes, 'Stirring the Forest'

CD Album, New.

1991 release. West Wind WW 2202.

Condition: excellent throughout, unplayed ex-shop stock so case a little worn. Full inlay booklet.

Vera Guimaraes was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Stirring the Forest, jazz from the heart of Brazil, draws you in with warm, provocative rhythms and melodies. In the lyrical music you can hear the Rain Forest thriving with the rhythm, urging us to treasure all that is ancient & sacred within ourselves. Draws on the traditional Chorinho style. Modern jazz with strong latin influence, led by Vera's flute playing.
